Tommy Valdez is my primo. I was about 10 when he escaped. I was at my aunts house and I heard a knock at the door. when I went to answer it, every cop from Silver, Bayard, Central, Hurley, and the county were outside pointing their gun towards me. talk about shitting bricks. They checked the whole house inside and out. They check all of my families homes including my moms. This was a crazy time for my family. He has been in prison pretty much all his life I hardly remember him. But of what I do remember he was always looking out for his family. everyone makes mistakes. You just have to learn how to deal with the consequences.
